Ahsan Directs Relevant Authorities to Strengthen Price Monitoring Mechanisms

Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has directed all relevant authorities to further strengthen price monitoring mechanisms and take proactive measures to improve market efficiency.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal chaired a meeting of the National Price Monitoring Committee in Islamabad, where he highlighted the need to bridge the gap between wholesale and retail markets by improving supply chain systems. He emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination with provincial and regional administrations to ensure effective market management.

Ahsan Iqbal stressed that efficient market management and transparent monitoring mechanisms are essential to ensure that the benefits of improved supply conditions reach consumers. The minister’s directives aim at creating a more streamlined and consumer-friendly market environment.
