Punjab CM Reviews Kisan Card and Agricultural Initiatives

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting in Lahore to review the Kisan Card and other agricultural initiatives.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was informed that 900,000 Kisan Cards have already been issued, with a target of reaching one million cards by the end of next month. The initiative aims to support farmers by providing them with necessary resources and subsidies.

The briefing also highlighted the distribution of 24,000 green tractors to farmers, each with a subsidy of one million rupees. Additionally, 12,000 super seeders and more modern agricultural machinery will be provided to enhance farming productivity and efficiency. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to bolster the agricultural sector in Punjab.
