Punjab CM to Launch Province’s Biggest Clean Drinking Water Project on Saturday

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of the province’s largest clean drinking water project, set to begin on Saturday. This initiative aims to provide clean and safe drinking water to the Southern Punjab and Pothohar regions, marking a significant development in the government’s efforts to improve public health infrastructure.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister addressed the Punjab Assembly session in Lahore on Friday, emphasizing the government’s commitment to serving the people across the province without bias. She highlighted the ongoing development work in various areas, indicating a comprehensive approach to regional growth and improvement.

In addition to the water project, the Chief Minister also mentioned plans to initiate shrimp farming on a large scale. This venture will cover an area of fifteen hundred acres, reflecting the government’s strategy to diversify and boost the agricultural sector in Punjab.
