Punjab Government Launches Urban Infrastructure Improvement Program in 51 Cities

Lahore: Punjab Government has launched the ‘Maryam Nawaz Ka Sohna Punjab’ program across fifty-one cities with an aim to enhance urban infrastructure and civic facilities. The initiative is set to significantly improve essential services, focusing primarily on sewerage systems and other critical infrastructure.

According to Radio Pakistan, Punjab Chief Minister, during a meeting held in Lahore, instructed that the first phase of the project should be completed by June of this year. The emphasis will be on upgrading sewerage systems and essential infrastructure in every participating city. Maryam Nawaz has also emphasized the timely completion of beautification projects in Vehari and Sheikhupura.

The Chief Minister has called for the swift completion of basic development schemes, including the sewerage systems in each city. Additionally, Maryam Nawaz has committed to personally overseeing the progress of these ongoing development projects throughout the province.
