Punjab Government to Hire 7,354 College Teaching Interns to Address Staff Shortage

Lahore: The Government of Punjab has announced the hiring of 7,354 College Teaching Interns (CTIs) to address the shortage of teaching staff in colleges across the province. The hiring process will cover a period of six months, from November 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, and will include quotas for minorities and disabled individuals.

According to Higher Education Department – Government of The Punjab, this decision was made to meet the pressing needs of educational institutions for the 2024-2025 financial year. The initiative will ensure that colleges have sufficient teaching resources to continue providing quality education. The program allocates 5% of the positions for minorities and 3% for disabled individuals.
