Punjab Governor and Azerbaijan Envoy Boost Educational Ties

Islamabad: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan and Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Farhadov met today to discuss strengthening educational cooperation between Punjab and Azerbaijan, highlighting the deep-rooted ties between the two regions.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions aimed at enhancing educational links included proposals for the exchange of delegations between universities of Punjab and Azerbaijan. The talks also explored designating Lahore and the Nakhchivan region of Azerbaijan as sister cities to foster closer cultural and educational ties.

The meeting emphasized the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, with a focus on expanding trade and cultural exchanges alongside educational collaborations.
