Punjab Govt Announces Public Holidays on Friday, Saturday Across Province

Punjab: Punjab Government has announced public holidays on Friday and Saturday across the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the notification issued by the government directs that two days be treated as gazetted public holidays for the general public, government offices, educational institutions, banks, and other institutions falling under provincial government jurisdiction.

Meanwhile, the Basant festivity is at its peak in Lahore. In a video message, the Chief Minister said the decision to celebrate the Basant festival was made to keep Punjab’s culture and traditions alive.
