Punjab Govt Approves Establishment of Film City: Azma

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has said Pakistani and Iranian filmmakers can collaborate to produce a world-class film on the life and philosophy of Allama Iqbal. Speaking at a dinner ceremony hosted by the Iranian Consul General in Lahore, she announced that the Punjab government has approved the establishment of Film City, and work on the project will begin soon.

According to Radio Pakistan, Azma Bokhari highlighted the importance of such collaborations in enhancing cultural ties between Pakistan and Iran. The proposed Film City is envisioned as a hub for filmmakers to create and showcase high-quality productions, fostering the growth of the film industry in the region. The project is expected to provide a platform for both local and international filmmakers to come together and create impactful cinema.
