Punjab Govt Decides to Set Up 4500 Water Filtration Plants

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the establishment of 4500 water filtration plants across the province, marking a significant step in public service initiatives. The decision was revealed during a meeting in Lahore, where the Chief Minister reviewed the performance of various departments.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz highlighted that this initiative accompanies a milestone achievement of saving 120 billion rupees for the province, a first in Punjab’s history. She commended Team Punjab’s efforts in reaching these public service goals and emphasized the importance of the new filtration plants, which will be installed in hospitals, schools, and police stations to improve access to clean water across the region.
