Punjab govt decides to start desilting drive from 26th of this month

Caretaker Punjab government has decided to start desilting drive from 26th of this month. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi approved desilting of 15,300 miles canals at a meeting in Lahore today. He said that upon completion, water would be accessible to three to four hundred thousand acres of land.
