Punjab Govt Develops Air Quality Forecast System

Lahore: Punjab government has developed the country’s first modern and technologically equipped air quality forecast system. This innovative system is designed to predict weather conditions and air pollution across the province, aiming to reduce air pollution levels in major cities like Lahore and Faisalabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb highlighted that the air forecasting system is a combination of real-time monitoring and modern scientific models. This system is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the air quality management across Punjab by providing accurate forecasts and enabling timely interventions to combat pollution.
