Punjab Govt Takes Revolutionary Steps for Welfare of Minorities: Arora

Lahore: Punjab Minister for Minorities Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora has announced that the provincial government has initiated revolutionary measures aimed at enhancing the welfare of minorities. The announcement was made during his participation in a News and Current Affairs program on Radio Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the initiatives include the issuance of minority cards for fifty thousand families, the restoration of worship places, and grants allocated for minorities during religious festivals. Additionally, an e-learning program has been launched specifically for minority communities to promote educational opportunities.

The Provincial Minister highlighted that a series of week-long events have been organized across Punjab to commemorate Minority Day. Arora emphasized that Pakistan is actively promoting a message of interfaith harmony to the international community, reflecting the country’s commitment to supporting its diverse population.
