Hot, Humid Weather Likely in Most Parts of Country: PMD

Islamabad: Hot and very humid weather is likely to persist in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, rain-wind/thundershower is expected at isolated places in Potohar region, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining hilly areas.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning included Islamabad at twenty-seven degrees centigrade, Lahore at thirty, Karachi at twenty-eight, Peshawar at twenty-nine, Quetta at twenty-one, Gilgit at twenty-two, Murree at sixteen, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-four degrees centigrade.

Regarding the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry conditions are expected in Leh, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Meanwhile, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain accompanied by wind and thundershower is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, and Pulwama. This morning, the temperatures recorded were Srinagar at nineteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-seven, Leh at twelve, Pulwama at eighteen, Anantnag at twenty, Shopian at seventeen, and Baramula at twenty-two degrees centigrade.
