Punjab Govt to establish special rehabilitation centers in five cities for disabled people

The Punjab government is going to establish special rehabilitation centers in five cities for paralyzed and disabled people.

In a statement today, the Caretaker Punjab Minister of Primary and Secondary Healthcare, Dr Jamal Nasir said the aim of this project is to help disabled people of any part of the body including tongue, hand, arm, leg and foot.

He said a 30-bed central rehabilitation center will be established in the District Headquarters Hospital, Multan.

The Minister said four satellite rehabilitation centers will be established in Lahore, Faisalabad, Taunsa and Wah Cantt.
