Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the work on first phase of Clean Drinking Water Programme will be initiated from thirty seven districts of Southern Punjab.
He was chairing a high-level meeting in Lahore on Wednesday, to review the progress on various issues of the Saaf Paani Project.
He said that in first phase of this programme, clean drinking water will be made available for people of Southern Punjab.
He said that the speed and high standards will be ensured while implementing this program.
The Chief Minister said that a Steering Committee has already been formed for this program and all concerned issues should be resolved at that forum.
He said that this programme is of great public interest project, as clean drinking water is an integral part of life.
