Punjab Govt’s Prudent Measures Minimized Flood Damage: Tarar

Islamabad: The Senate was informed today that the Punjab Government’s prudent measures successfully mitigated the damage caused by the recent flood despite its huge magnitude.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Law Azam Nazeer Tarar responded to queries raised by the opposition benches, praising RESCUE 1122 for its effective and active role during rescue operations. The Minister highlighted that maximum facilities, including the Clinic on Wheels service, were provided to the flood victims. Additionally, he noted that the Punjab Government ensured massive vaccination of livestock and other animals during the recent monsoon season.

The House has now been adjourned to meet again on Thursday at five in the evening.
