Punjab Public Service Commission Expands Recruitment for Assistant Professor Position

Lahore: The Punjab Public Service Commission has announced an increase in the available positions for the post of Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, escalating the number from one to four. This change applies to the recruitment process outlined in Consolidated Advertisement No. 13/2024, initially published with a different figure.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the modification follows a request from the Administrative Department. The original advertisement, which appeared in the “Dawn” and “Jang” newspapers on July 10, 2024, stated the closing date for applications as July 29, 2024. This recruitment, under case number 32-RE/2024, aims to fill positions on a regular basis within the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department.

The commission has confirmed that despite the increase in the number of vacancies, all other conditions for eligibility as stated in the initial advertisement remain unchanged. This adjustment opens more opportunities for qualified candidates in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
