Quarterly Flow Monitoring Report Shows Trends in Afghan Returnees from Pakistan

Islamabad: A recent report from the International Organization for Migration outlines the migration trends of Afghan nationals returning to Afghanistan from Pakistan between July and September 2024, highlighting the flow, demographic profiles, and vulnerabilities of returnees.

According to International Organization for Migration, the Flow Monitoring initiative, which began in 2016, has tracked significant data on the movement of Afghan nationals. The latest quarterly report indicates that 2,710 heads of households were interviewed, with a total of 87,346 Afghan nationals identified as returning to Afghanistan. This data includes detailed information on family members traveling with heads of households, encompassing aspects such as gender, age, and documentation status.
