Quetta Enhances Security for Anti-Polio Campaign

Quetta: In an effort to ensure the safety of teams and volunteers during the ongoing anti-polio campaign, a meeting was held between Senatorial Coordinator Colonel Irfan, Professional Coordinator, and Additional Deputy Commissioner General Quetta Muhammad Anwar Kakar. The discussions focused on the security arrangements necessary to facilitate the smooth execution of the vaccination effort across the city.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Kakar outlined the comprehensive security measures being implemented. These include an extensive security plan to protect health workers and volunteers, increased police patrols in sensitive areas, and enhanced surveillance on city entrance and exit points. Kakar emphasized that all relevant institutions are collaborating to ensure that the anti-polio campaign proceeds without any security issues, underlining the commitment to eradicate polio while safeguarding public health volunteers and professionals involved in the campaign.
