Quetta: In a notable legal development, the Election Tribunal 1, led by Balochistan High Court Judge Mr. Justice Abdullah Baloch, has dismissed the election fraud allegations against Asfandyar Khan Kakar, the winning candidate from constituency PB-47 Pashin-1. The dismissal was based on insufficient evidence to support the claims made by the challenger, Kamaluddin.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the tribunal carefully reviewed the witness statements and electoral records before concluding that the evidence did not substantiate the accusations of election fraud. Legal representatives for Kamaluddin, Kamran Murtaza and Adnan Ejaz, Advocates, contended the validity of the election results, while Isfandiar Khan Kakar was defended by a team led by Nader Ali Chhalgari. Additionally, Nusrat Baloch, Assistant Advocate General, represented the Government of Balochistan’s interests in the case.
