Radio Pakistan to be revamped: Senator Faisal

Senator Faisal Javed of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf says Radio Pakistan would be revamped to make it a vibrant and state-of-the-art institution for mass awareness.

In an exclusive talk with our correspondent Bilal Mehsud outside the National Assembly in Islamabad Wednesday afternoon, he said the problems faced by Radio Pakistan in terms of equipment, human resource and financial matters will be resolved.

Senator Faisal Javed said Radio Pakistan has a very credible voice among the bouquet of media due to its mature content.

He said although Radio Pakistan has a vast reach and covers far flung areas of the country, yet there is still room for improvement in radio broadcasts.

Appreciating a suggestion regarding Prime Minister’s address on radio on regular basis, Faisal Javed said this will help convey to the people the government’s messages and policies that do not have access to TV or social media.

He said PTI government will change the policy of previous governments and allow the opposition voices to be also aired on state run radio and TV.
