Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry hailed Shahbaz Sharif stance on withholding tax

Rawalpindi, October 06, 2015 (PPI-OT): President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mian Humayun Parvez hailed Mian Shahbaz Sharif’s statement while a meeting with traders representatives in which he said Businessmen’s reservations with regard to withholding tax on banking transactions will be addressed through talks Mian Humayun Parvez urged the Govt. to resolve Withholding Tax issue at priority basis before the traders deadline of protest on 13th October.

These protests will be harmful for the economy of the country, so that the issue should be resolved at earliest. He hoped that Finance Minister Ishaq will call a meeting of assigned WHT committee and community, s representative to sort out the issue.
