Relevant Departments on Alert as Heavy Rain Lashes Rawalpindi, Islamabad

Islamabad: Heavy rainfall has been recorded in various parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, in Rawalpindi, 201 mm of rain was recorded in Shamsabad, 186 mm in New Katarian, and 157 mm in Golra, Islamabad. Torrential rain also inundated several low-lying areas of the federal capital, with nullahs overflowing in E-11 and Ghouri Town, causing water to enter roads and some building basements.
