Relief Operations by Pakistan Army Continue in Flood-Hit Areas of Okara

Okara: Relief operations by Pakistan Army continue in flood-affected areas of Okara in coordination with the civil administration. Pakistan Army has evacuated four hundred and twenty-three people from floodwaters and shifted them to safer locations.

According to Radio Pakistan, three teams of the Pakistan Army equipped with boats and rescue equipment have been deployed at the Jandraka point on the River Ravi. Additional army troops have been placed on alert with a twelve-hour notice, preparing for possible rescue operations in Sahiwal and Head Sidhnai.

The district administration has established relief camps in various areas to support displaced individuals. In addition to efforts in Okara, Pakistan Army is also engaged in relief operations in the flood-affected areas of Sargodha. Army personnel have utilized boats to transfer women and children to safer locations.

In Kot Momin, a total of fifteen hundred flood-affected people have been relocated to safer places. The coordinated efforts between the Pakistan Army and civil administration aim to mitigate the impact of the floods and ensure the safety of the affected communities.
