Rescue and relief activities are underway in rain-affected areas of Upper Dir, Swat, and Kurram districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, food packages and relief items have been distributed among the rain affected people of these districts.
Director General PDMA Muhammad Qaiser Khan asked the authorities concerned to ensure availability of medicines in hospitals during the present spell of rain and snowfall.
He said PDMA is utilizing all the available resources for rescue and rehabilitation of affected people.
