Retirement of Registrar Central Police Office Marked by Ceremony

Lahore: A farewell ceremony was held to honor the retirement of Registrar Central Police Office, Deputy Director Ghulam Mustafa. Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, along with senior officers, paid tribute to Mustafa for his service to the department.

According to Punjab Police, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that Deputy Director Ghulam Mustafa’s contributions to the police department will be remembered. His consistent follow-up ensured administrative affairs were managed effectively. Dr. Anwar highlighted Mustafa’s dignified retirement and expressed gratitude for his kind-hearted nature. Mustafa, in turn, expressed appreciation for the support from the IG and his colleagues, attributing his professional success to divine mercy, his mother’s prayers, and guidance from his seniors.

The ceremony included the presentation of commemorative souvenirs, flowers, and gifts to Mustafa. A spokesperson for Punjab Police noted that during his 34-year tenure, Mustafa held several key positions. The event was attended by Additional IGs, DIGs, MD Safe Cities Authority, AIGs, and other senior officers of the Central Police Office.
