River Sutlej attains very high flood level at Sulemanki

There is a high level of flood in Sutlej River at Ganda Singh Wala area of Kasur district.

According to Spokesperson of Punjab Disaster Management Authority, water flow has been currently 129,000 cusecs at Ganda Singh Wala.

The spokesperson said there is very high level of flood at Sulemanki Headworks and 191000 cusecs water is passing through the Sulemanki.

Water flow is normal at Head Islam and water level is being increased while flow of water in other rivers of Punjab is normal.

The Spokesperson said low level flood is at Tarbela in River Sindh. He said Mangla and Tarbela dams are one hundred percent full.

Meanwhile, Director General PDMA said administration of the concerned districts is on high alert.
