Karachi, November 06, 2012 (PPI-OT): Rohde and Schwarz, the world famous quality, precision and innovation in all fields of wireless communications for the last 80 years, participates in the International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2012, which will take place at the Karachi Expo Center from Wednesday, 7 to Sunday, 11 November, 2012.
EMBRAER Defense and Security, which has been commissioned by the Brazilian government, builds a new military transport aircraft called the KC-390, would also be participated in the IDEAS 2012 in Karachi.
The KC-390, the latest generation of transport aircraft, will be equipped with R and S M3AR airborne transceivers from Rohde and Schwarz. These transceivers are already being used in various other aircraft types such as the A400M, Euro fighter, NH90, TIGER and F16. Customers around the world depend on the R and S M3AR to provide secure and reliable radio communications in the most challenging environments.
Launched in 2008, IDEAS is the only specialized defense exhibition in the Southeast Asia region that brings together companies delivering cutting-edge technologies designed to meet armed forces’ security challenges of the 21st century. It is a unique event that addresses the growing need for sophisticated arms equipment and gives companies in this sector the chance to showcase their latest products.
IDEAS 2012 will provide an opportunity for companies producing high-end arms technology to promote their products and services to an international and regional audience of high-level government procurement personnel from army, navy and air force security forces.
