Rs579b relief to be given to people in electricity bills: Dastgir

Minister for Energy Khurram Dastgir says relief worth 579 billion rupees will be given to people in electricity bills and to keep uniform rate across the country.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Monday, he said 171 billion rupees for relief to people of Karachi and 55 billion rupees to the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be given.

He said 58 billion rupees have been allocated for the tube well program in Balochistan.
