RSS-BJP Accused of Institutional Control by Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi has charged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological parent, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), have seized control of all institutions in India. He also emphasized that the Congress party is effectively in a battle against the Indian State itself.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, Gandhi made these remarks during the inauguration of the Congress party’s new headquarters, Indira Bhawan. He noted that India’s struggle against the Sangh-Parivar has spanned thousands of years, likening it to a historical conflict of ideologies.

Gandhi expressed concerns over the recent Maharashtra Assembly elections, highlighting an unusual surge of nearly one crore new voters. He alleged that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has been influenced by the BJP-RSS nexus, neglecting to address hate speeches by politicians associated with these groups.

He further criticized the BJP’s policies, claiming they aim to silence minorities, Dalits, backward castes, and tribals. “BJP wants India to be run by one man and aims to crush the voices of Muslims, Dalits, minorities, backward castes, and tribals. This is their agenda,” Gandhi stated.
