Sales Tax Refunds Worth Rs. 32 Billion to Be Disbursed to Exporters

Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that sales tax refund payment orders amounting to Rs. 32 billion, which were processed up to September 30, 2024, will be disbursed to exporters on November 1, 2024. This decision comes under the direction of the Chairman of the FBR.

According to Press Information Department, the pending sales tax refunds were processed through the FASTER system, a mechanism designed to expedite payment to exporters. The disbursement aims to provide financial relief to exporters, ensuring that all pending payments are cleared as scheduled.
