Salman Khan Targeted with Death Threat by Bishnoi Gang Following Baba Siddiqui’s Murder

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a death threat from the Bishnoi gang, demanding an extortion payment of Rs 5 crore, following the recent murder of Baba Siddiqui, a prominent National Congress Party leader and influential Bollywood figure.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Times of India reported that the threat was conveyed through a message sent to the official WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police. The message starkly warned Khan to comply with the ransom demand or risk a fate similar to Siddiqui’s. The Bishnoi gang, which claimed responsibility for Siddiqui’s assassination on October 12, underscored the seriousness of their threat by referencing their previous violent actions.

Following the threat, police and other investigative bodies have intensified their efforts, while Khan’s personal security has been significantly strengthened. Siddiqui’s murder, which involved several gang operatives now under arrest, has heightened concerns about the gang’s continued influence, even as their leader remains incarcerated in Lawrence jail.

The gang has a notorious history of targeting high-profile figures, particularly those connected to the Indian film industry and politics. This recent threat to Khan is part of a broader pattern of extortion and violence that has also seen the gang implicated in international criminal activities, as per Canadian police statements linking them with operations against pro-Khalistan leaders abroad.
