Karachi, March 20, 2013 (PPI-OT): In accordance with the Listing Regulation No.18 (2) of the exchanges, we have enclosed for your information a copy of the advertisement regarding draft notice of Election of Directors of Samba Bank Limited (SBL), which will be published in the newspapers i.e. Business Recorder and Daily Express on March 20, 2013.
Election of Directors
Pursuant to Section 178(4) of the Companies Ordinance 1984, members are hereby notified that the following persons have filed with the Bank notice of their intention to offer themselves for election as Directors of the Bank at the Tenth Annual General Meeting of the Bank scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 27th March 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Hotel Beach Luxury, Karachi.

3. Mr. Farhat Abbas Mirza
4. Mr. Humayun Murad
5. Mr. Javed Iqbal
6. Mr. Medhat Fareed Abbas Tawfik

8. Mr. Zahid Zaheer
Since the number of persons who have offered themselves to be elected as Directors is not more than 8 (eight), as fixed by the Board of Directors in terms of Section 178(1) of the Companies Ordinance 1984, the above named 8 (eight) candidates shall be deemed to be elected as Directors of the Bank at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting for a term of three years, subject to the approval from the State Bank of Pakistan.
