SCO Follow-up Committee Reviews Preparations for CHS Summit

Islamabad: The 4th meeting of the SCO Follow-up Committee was held in Islamabad today with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair. The Committee reviewed preparations for Pakistan’s upcoming SCO CHS Chairmanship and the CHS Summit to be hosted in Islamabad next year.

According to Radio Pakistan, the sub-committees briefed the meeting on the progress regarding the venue, accommodation, security, finance, media management, transport, and logistics for delegations visiting for the SCO CHS Summit. Ishaq Dar directed the concerned heads of the sub-committees to expedite the work. He further emphasized to the chairmen of the sub-committees the need to actively pursue and implement the decisions of the forum. He reiterated the importance of the event and urged everyone to take it as a national task.
