Secretary Urges Banks to Offer Attractive EV Financing Plans

Islamabad: Secretary Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Aisha Humera Moriani has urged the country’s banking sector to come forward with various attractive consumer financing plans for potential buyers of electric vehicles. She was chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad on Friday regarding viable consumer financing options and financial support mechanisms for the unfettered and rapid adoption of electric vehicles.

According to Radio Pakistan, representatives of the State Bank of Pakistan and all commercial banks operating in the country attended the meeting. The Secretary emphasized the need for unprecedented easy and affordable financing facilities to encourage the adoption of EVs in the country.
