Security Forces Eliminate 19 Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Peshawar: Security forces in Pakistan have killed 19 individuals identified as Khwarij in a series of military operations in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. These operations, conducted in three different locations, underscore the ongoing efforts to combat terrorism in the area.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the operations were intelligence-based and targeted specific locations known for Khwarij activity. The first operation took place in the Matani area of Peshawar district, where security forces engaged the targets, resulting in the deaths of eight Khwarij.

A subsequent operation occurred in the Baizai area of Mohmand District, where another eight Khwarij were neutralized following an exchange of fire. The final engagement was in Karak District, where three Khwarij were killed by the security forces.

The operations were not without losses. Three soldiers, Lance Havaldar Abbas Ali, Naik Muhammad Nazir, and Naik Muhammad Usman, lost their lives during the intense exchanges. Security forces have initiated sanitization operations to ensure that no other threats remain in the regions where the operations took place.

Security forces in Pakistan remain committed to eradicating terrorism, with the recent operations reflecting their resolve and the sacrifices made by military personnel.
