Security Forces Eliminate Nine Militants in Bajaur Operation

Bajaur: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur District during the night of October 23-24, successfully neutralizing nine militants, including two suicide bombers and a high-value target identified as militant leader Said Muhammad, also known as Qureshi Ustad. The operation targeted members of the Khwarij group reportedly active in the area.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the operation involved an intense exchange of fire, resulting in the elimination of all targeted militants. Security personnel recovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the scene. The Khwarij members were allegedly involved in numerous attacks against both security forces and civilians.

A follow-up sanitization operation is ongoing in the area as part of Pakistan’s continued efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country.
