Security Forces Engage in Deadly Firefight in North Waziristan, Lieutenant Colonel and Five Soldiers Martyred

A violent encounter between the Security Forces and Khwarij in the area of Spinwam, North Waziristan District on the night of October 4/5 resulted in the death of six Khwarij and the martyrdom of Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shoukat along with five soldiers. According to Inter Services Public Relations, the clash occurred during a routine operation aimed at countering terrorism in the region. Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Shoukat, aged 43 from Faisalabad, led his troops bravely in the firefight. His team, including Lance Naik Muhammad Ullah, Lance Naik Akhtar Zaman, Lance Naik Shahid Ullah, Lance Naik Yusaf Ali, and Sepoy Jameel Ahmed, also lost their lives in the service of their country. The ongoing sanitization operation seeks to eliminate any remaining threats in the area, demonstrating the continued commitment of Pakistan’s Security Forces to eradicate terrorism and uphold national security.
