Security Forces Foil Major Terrorist Plot by Timely Action in Panjgur

Islamabad: Security forces have foiled a major terrorist plot by a timely action in Panjgur district of Balochistan: Security forces conducted an operation on a tip-off in the Jeerak area of Panjgur and recovered a large quantity of weapons and communication equipment.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the operation, four rocket fuses and multiple improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were seized from a vehicle.

Security sources indicated that this explosive material was intended for use in a possible major terrorist attack. The timely and professional action by security forces thwarted this plan.
