Senate Prepares for Upcoming Legislative Session

Islamabad: The House Business Advisory Committee (HBAC) of the Senate convened a meeting at the Parliament House on Thursday to outline the legislative agenda for the upcoming 346th Senate Session. Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan presided over the meeting, which focused on discussing legislative matters and important national and international issues.

According to a statement by Senate of Pakistan, the HBAC meeting highlighted that the current Senate session is expected to continue until February 26, 2025. The meeting included key figures such as Senator Syed Shibli Faraz, Leader of Opposition, Chief Whip Senator Saleem Mandviwala, and others.

The committee was briefed by Secretary Senate Syed Hasnain Haider regarding the legislative business to be covered during the session. The gathering aimed to ensure that the Senate is well-prepared to address pressing issues through legislative means.

The session will take up discussions on a wide range of topics, reflecting the Senate’s role in addressing both national concerns and international developments.
