Senate Supports Kashmiris’ Right to Self-Determination

Islamabad: In a significant move, the Senate passed a resolution today, reinforcing Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people’s pursuit of self-determination. The resolution, introduced by Senator Danesh Kumar, received unanimous approval from the legislative body.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the resolution emphasized Pakistan’s moral, political, and diplomatic backing for the Kashmiris’ cause. The Senate expressed solidarity with the Kashmiri people in their ongoing struggle for autonomy.

In other proceedings, “The Nippon Institute of Advance Sciences Bill, 2025” was presented before the Senate. The chairperson has directed the bill to the relevant standing committee for further examination.

The Senate is scheduled to reconvene tomorrow at 11:30 a.m.
