Islamabad: Islamabad Police on Sunday arrested seven accused from different areas of the city and recovered, 8 wine bottles and 3 illicit Pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Following directions from SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan, Ijaz Ahmad ASI of Bhara Kahu Police arrested two accused namely Bashir Masih and Muhammad Raiz and recovered 9 bottles of liquor from their possession.
Muhammad Imran ASI of PS Kohsar during checking arrested one accuse namely Muhammad Javed Qamar and recovered 6 carton bear from him. Muhammad Raees ASI of PS Margalla arrested one accuses namely Yasi Khan and recovered one pistol, magazine along with 2 cartridges from him.
Munir Ahmad Inspector of CID Police during interrogation a case FIR No 264/11 recovered one pistol and one dagger on poinatation of arrested accused namely Amjad Nawaz and Nadeem Abbas.
Muhammad Ishaq ASI PS Sabzi Mandi during patrolling arrested on accuses namely Faqir Muhammad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Muhammad Arif ASI arrested one accuses namely Mazhair Iqbal involved in theft case further investigation is underway.
Separate cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan has directed all Station House Officers to accelerate their efforts against anti-social elements and ensure protection to lives and property of the citizens.
