Lahore: Shadman Cotton Mills Limited, located on Warburton Road near Chandi Kot Stop, has been granted an extension for holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and for the submission of its annual and quarterly financial statements, as confirmed by official communications.
On September 30, 2024, the company formally requested an extension under sections 132 and 223 of the Companies Act, 2017, to defer its AGM and the disclosure of its financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the request also included an extension for the submission of the first quarterly financial report for the period ending September 30, 2024.
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan has approved this request, allowing Shadman Cotton Mills until November 17, 2024, to hold the AGM and present the annual financial statements to its shareholders. Additionally, the company has been given until November 29, 2024, to file its quarterly financial statements.
This extension provides Shadman Cotton Mills with the necessary additional time to prepare and review their financial statements comprehensively, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
