Dera Bugti: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is prioritizing the development of the energy sector as the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) begins gas production in the Dera Bugti district of Balochistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, OGDCL has successfully commenced gas production in the region, marking a significant advancement due to the company’s technical capabilities. Gas was discovered at a depth of 1,345 meters, a testament to the company’s drilling expertise.

This latest discovery in Balochistan follows an earlier successful gas find by OGDCL in the Khairpur district of Sindh. These developments underscore the ongoing efforts and investments in the energy sector, highlighting the strategic importance of such initiatives in enhancing energy resources.
