Significant Achievements Being Made in Increasing Pakistan’s Energy Production

Islamabad: Significant achievements are being made in increasing Pakistan’s energy production due to the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). OGDCL is implementing modern technological measures, along with agreements with foreign companies to boost daily production in the country. It has signed a key agreement with a French company for modern water injection systems at the Kunner and Pasakhi oil fields.

According to Radio Pakistan, under this agreement, an increase of nine million barrels of oil and three billion cubic feet of gas in the overall production of the fields is expected, with a projected income of four hundred and sixty million dollars.
