Sindh can produce 2000MW electricity through Solar Energy: Murad

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the province has strong potential for producing two thousand megawatts electricity within two years through Solar Energy.

Addressing a seminar on energy in Karachi on Wednesday, he said Sindh government is already working on Solar Energy projects showing very promising results.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said that in Tharparkar huge reservoirs of Coal are available which are being exploited for producing coal based electricity.

He said that the government has also established Wind Power projects in Thatta wind corridor which are producing environmental-friendly electricity.
