Sindh CM Reviews Progress on World Bank Funded Projects

Islamabad: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah chaired a meeting in Karachi today to review progress on World Bank funded projects in the province. A ten-member delegation of the World Bank led by the Country Director Ms. Bolormaa Amgaabazar was also present.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was informed that thirteen World Bank projects costing 3.86 billion dollars are currently underway in the province. The meeting participants agreed on the need to strengthen the social protection system under a two hundred million dollars project aimed at enhancing social protection in the province.
