Sindh Declares Public Holiday for Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai

Karachi: The Government of Sindh has declared a public holiday on 20th August 2024 for the Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, a revered Sufi saint. The holiday applies to all workers throughout the province, acknowledging the cultural and spiritual significance of the event.

According to Employers’ Federation of Pakistan, the notification issued by the Sindh Labour and Human Resources Department specifies the observance of the holiday under the Sindh Public Holidays Act, 2016.
