Sindh Government and UK Strengthen Ties on Sustainable Infrastructure and Climate Resilience

Karachi: British High Commissioner Jane Marriott has called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi and discussed ongoing collaboration between Sindh and the United Kingdom in multiple sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the enduring partnership between Sindh and the United Kingdom, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, social development, and climate resilience. The meeting highlighted both ongoing and future collaborative efforts, backed by significant financial and technical support from the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to bolster Sindh’s economic growth.

Talking to Jane Marriott, the Chief Minister outlined achievements in flood resilience, restoration of agricultural waterways, health and education reforms, and the development of Special Economic Zones to stimulate industrial growth.
