Karachi: Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan has directed the authorities concerned to take all possible measures to deal with the expected cyclone in Sindh.
He issued these directives at a high-level meeting held at the Governor House on Friday. The meeting was attended by Representatives of the Army, Navy, Rangers, local Governments Authorities and the KWSB, KESC and other utilities.
The governor also asked the authorities to take all technical measures into account for the prevention of any natural calamity.
He underlined the need of effective coordination among different organizations and issued an alert warning to all authorities to have all indications of any natural calamity.
He also directed the officials to make changes in accordance with the prevailing situation. The governor also directed them to create awareness among the masses about cyclones.
